If you want a quick and easy delicious breakfast, QUICHE is the way to go! This quiche is full of bacon, eggs and cheese. It also has onions, but you can eliminate them if you are not a fan. I make this for my family all the time and the whole pie is eaten immediately. We love to have a wholesome breakfast on a Sunday to start our day!
INGREDIENTS:
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 half Pillsbury Pie Crust
4 large Eggs
8-10 slices of Bacon
1 ¼ cup Colby Jack Cheese
1/3 cup chopped onions
1 ½ cups Whipping Cream
¼ teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt

- METHOD:
- Heat oven to 425 degrees
- Start to cook bacon to be crispy, when it is almost cooked, add the onion to the pan with the bacon. Cook for another 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Place pie crust into 9” Pie Dish. Cover with foil.
- When the oven reaches 425 degrees, place the covered pie crust inside the oven and bake for 10 minutes, then take it out and set aside. Remove the foil.

- Whisk very lightly the Eggs and the whipping cream together, add the salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Add most of the cheese but save a little for the top of the pie.
- Add the bacon and onion mixture to the pre-cooked pie crust.
- Pour the egg and cream mixture over the bacon and onions.
- Sprinkle the rest of the cheese and if you desire, sprinkle a little pepper and cayenne pepper over the top of the pie.
- Place pie in the oven for 10 minutes at the 425 heat. Then reduce the heat to 325 and bake for a further 30-35 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
