
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 Cups all purpose flour.
- 1 Cup or two sticks of butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 tsp of ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- Scottie Dog Cookie Cutter
- Parchment Paper
- Cookie Tray
- Cooling Tray
- Rolling Pin
- Spatula

METHOD:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees
- Mix sugar and butter together in mixing bowl, until it forms a creamy paste.
- Add flour, ginger and vanilla
- Knead together with your hands until all ingredients are used up to form a ball.
- Sprinkle a little flour on the surface where you are going to roll out the cookie mixture
- Roll out the mixture until it’s about 1/2 thick. Cut our your cookies with the cutter.
- Place them on the parchment paper on the cookie tray. Leave a little space between them
- Bake for 20 minutes.
- Wait until cookies are completely cooled. At this point you can melt some chocolate and dip the cookies in or pour over the top, if not, using green icing, draw a stripe across the neck of the Scottie Dog. Then take a toothpick and drag over the stripe lightly on each side to create the look of Holly.
- Using the red icing packet, draw three dots on in the middle of the holly collar. Wait until completely dry and VOILA!
